We process your data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).

2. What data we process

  • Order and contact data: name, billing and delivery address, email address, phone number (optional).
  • Personalization content: photos, names and texts that you upload or enter for your personalized product.
  • Payment data: payment method and transaction details. Your full card details are processed directly by the respective payment provider and are not stored by us.
  • Customer account: login details and order history, if you create an account.
  • Communication: the content of your enquiries to our customer service.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser, device, pages viewed and time of access.

3. Purposes and legal bases

  • Performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR): processing your order, producing your personalized product, shipping, payment processing, customer service and complaints.
  • Legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR): retention of invoice and accounting records.
  • Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): secure and stable operation of the shop, fraud prevention and improving our offering.
  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR): newsletter as well as non-essential cookies, analytics and advertising. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future.

4. Your uploaded photos

We use the photos, names and texts you provide for personalization exclusively to produce your product. For this purpose, we pass them on to our respective production partner. We do not publish your photos or use them for advertising unless you have expressly given us permission to do so. We delete this content as soon as it is no longer needed for the order and any complaints.

5. Disclosure to third parties

We only share your data where this is necessary for the purposes stated above:

  • Shopify (Shopify International Ltd., Ireland): hosting and operation of our shop. More information: https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy
  • Payment providers: e.g. PayPal, Shopify Payments, Apple Pay, Shop Pay, Bancontact, depending on the payment method you choose.
  • Production partners: printing and manufacturing service providers that produce your product, located in the EU, the United Kingdom or the USA depending on the delivery country.
  • Shipping providers: name and delivery address for delivery, and possibly your email address for shipment tracking.
  • Apps in the shop: e.g. for product personalization or reviews, where necessary to operate the shop.
  • Advertising and analytics services such as Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Pinterest, only if we use them and you have given your prior consent.
  • Authorities: only if we are legally obliged to do so.

We do not sell your data.

6. Cookies

Our shop uses cookies. Technically necessary cookies, e.g. for the shopping cart and checkout, are required for operation. We only set all other cookies for analytics and marketing with your consent via our cookie banner. You can change your selection at any time via the cookie settings in the footer.

7. Newsletter

If you sign up for our newsletter, we use your email address to send you offers and news. You can unsubscribe at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email.

8. Transfers to other countries

We are based in Switzerland, for which the European Commission has recognized an adequate level of data protection. Some of our service providers also process data in countries outside the EU and Switzerland, e.g. in the USA. In these cases, we rely on recognized safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-U.S. or Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

9. Retention period

We only store your data for as long as necessary for the purposes stated. Due to statutory retention obligations, we keep invoice and accounting records for up to 10 years. After that, your data is deleted.

You have the right to:

  • Rectification of incorrect data
  • Erasure of your data
  • Restriction of processing
  • Data portability
  • Object to processing
  • Withdraw any consent you have given

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, e.g. the authority in your country of residence within the EU, or the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) in Switzerland.

11. Data security

Our shop is fully encrypted using SSL/TLS. We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data.

12. Children

Our offering is not intended for children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

13. Changes

We update this privacy policy when our offering or the legal situation changes. The current version on this page applies.
